But the verity’s lost in the grounds of pure reason
Being’s supreme
Holding sway over all who succumb to their bidding

Place man on the stand
Justifying his worth to celestial fathers
Imagine a plan that disguises the fact
That their trial has no meaning

And as the orb sits unaware
Godheaded children sing on the judgement day

The eyes of the many gods
In concert as one

Divine spheres of need
And in jealousy fight over earthborn attention
Bow down to please
Ever fearful that wrath can descend if unfaithful

On ancient commands
All the blood ever shed
Runs in rivers of plenty
But no guiding hand
Lay upon the assailant
Who acts from his duty

And if the mindless still obey
What hope for logos
There in empyrean play

The eyes of the many gods
Replacing our own

Too long abiding by the words
That fill imaginations
Still paranoia reigns across a simple mind’s terrain
Wherever oculus rests
Dogma follows day

Sinners all, whose time will come and go
Be released to dust to close the circle flow
And in their place a birthing will arise
Never questioning, forever mystified
